Welcome to METTA Resort, where your journey to a memorable stay in Bhutan begins. Embrace tranquility, soothe your soul, and relish the experience. “METTA,” derived from the Pali language, translates to “loving kindness” – a love that knows no boundaries, is selfless, and encompasses all. It signifies a profound desire for the well-being and happiness of others.
METTA is also known as Paritta, a spiritual formula designed to safeguard one’s well-being, offering protection against all dangers, and rescuing individuals from mishaps and misfortunes. These principles serve as the foundation for how we warmly host our guests. At Bhutan Metta Resort & Spa, we provide a secure haven where you will be nurtured, leaving with a sense of joy and peace. Your retreat in Bhutan eagerly awaits you.

This is an excellent 3 stars hotel you will never regret staying. Hotel staff are extremely courteous, friendly and helpful. No task is too demanding on them, and they will always served with a smile on their face, these gestures really make you feel welcomed. I was told this hotel is a JV of Bhutanese and Malaysian, that’s explains why the cafeteria serves pork ribs soup (Bakuteh), Nasi Lemak and Claypot Rice plus a few others to meet the needs of Singaporeans and Malaysians.
Our stay at Metta resort and spa was the highlight of our beautiful trip to Bhutan. Rooms were lovely, spacious and decorated in a traditional manner so we could always feel that special spirit of this amazing country. All the facilities that one would need were available (eg. TV, kettle, hair dryer, hot water,…).The food was delicious and every day different. The main jewel of this resort is actually their staff. Everyone was very welcoming, friendly, helpful and sure that our stay was wonderful.
This hotel is really situated off the beaten track far away from town area the small road towards the hotel was unpaved so was very bumpy. Hotel is single storied style so the entrance to your room is only shared with another room opposite. Room itself is very spacious with plenty of room to move around. A couch and tv area situated near the door and the comfy twin beds further inside. Staffs again very polite, courteous and helpful, very proactive too as they asked us what time we would like to have breakfast the next day so that they could get it ready for us even though it was before their usual opening hour at 7am.
